About us

We’re a PPC and SEO agency based in Swansea, working with an exciting mix of clients from ambitious local businesses to global ecommerce brands. Every client is different, which means there’s always something new to get stuck into and no two accounts are ever quite the same.

We work with our clients for the long term, so you’ll get to see the work you put in really develop. You might be looking at the same account a year or two down the line, seeing what’s worked, what’s changed and where you can take it next. It’s rewarding to see your work make a genuine difference over time.

We’re a small team, which means you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your own clients from an early stage. You’ll have plenty of responsibility, but also the support of the team around you whenever you need it.

The role

You’ll look after your own portfolio of SEO clients, giving you the opportunity to have a real say in how each account develops. Your work could cover everything from strategy and keyword research to on-page and technical SEO, local SEO, content recommendations and link acquisition. You’ll be able to work across different areas of SEO and see how they come together to deliver results for your clients.

You’ll carry out technical SEO audits, identify opportunities for improvement and put those recommendations into action. Where changes involve a client’s wider web team, you’ll work alongside them to make sure everything is implemented effectively.

You’ll prepare your own monthly reports and take clients through the results, giving you regular opportunities to speak directly with the people you work with and build strong client relationships.

Day to day

We’re a small team, so everyone gets involved in the day-to-day running of the office. That might mean picking up the phone, helping a teammate out or getting involved in something outside your usual day-to-day work.

You’ll be part of a supportive team where everyone shares ideas, asks questions and helps each other out. We regularly bounce ideas around and get a second opinion when we need one because the best work usually comes from working together.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone with hands-on SEO experience, ideally from an agency environment, who’s comfortable managing multiple client accounts and enjoys having a varied workload.

Confidence with technical SEO, along with a curious, problem-solving approach. We’re looking for someone who enjoys digging into the detail, understanding why something is happening and working out how to improve it.

Experience using tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs, GA4, Google Search Console and Looker Studio is a plus. If you’re comfortable working with SEO data and reporting, we’d still love to hear from you.

An interest in keeping up with how SEO and search are evolving. Things are changing quickly, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys learning, trying new approaches and keeping their knowledge up to date.

Above all, we value clear communication. You’ll work with a range of clients, some who know SEO inside out and others who are completely new to it, so being able to explain what you’re doing, why it matters and what it means for their business is an important part of the role.

A degree isn’t important to us. We care much more about what you can do, the experience you’ve built and the work you’re capable of producing.

What we offer

  • £26,000 – £28,000 salary
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Your birthday off, on top of your annual leave
  • Hybrid working – two days a week in our Swansea office and three from home. For your first two weeks, you’ll be in the office full-time so you can get to know the team and settle in.
  • Flexitime – work your hours anytime between 8am and 6pm
  • Up to 8 hours of paid learning time each month. Whether that’s a course, reading, testing something new or exploring a different approach, we’ll give you the time to keep developing
  • Genuine opportunities to progress. We review roles and pay twice a year, giving you regular opportunities to talk about where you want to go next

How we work

We keep client portfolios at a manageable size, so you have the time and space to do your best work. We’d rather you have a smaller number of clients that you can genuinely get to know and make a difference to, rather than being stretched across too many accounts.

We care about getting the workload right. If things start to feel too busy, we’ll talk about it and make changes because we want you to be able to do a great job without your work spilling into your evenings.

You’ll have plenty of support around you. We’re a small team, so there’s always someone to ask, whether you need a second opinion, want to talk through an idea or just need a fresh perspective. We’d much rather you ask than feel like you have to figure everything out on your own.

How to apply

Send your CV to hello@admarketing.group with a short note telling us a little about yourself and why you think the role could be a good fit for you. We read every application.

We’re recruiting for this role directly and aren’t looking to hear from other digital marketing agencies.
